Below is information about some of the various ministries that Bread of Life supports.

Blankets of Blessings

Blankets of Blessings ministry began in February 2007. They meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 9:30 – 11:30. The completed blankets are prayed over before delivering them to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department and in turn they are given to ‘victims’. Each blanket has a label sewn in it which says “Love each other”. It is the hope and desire of this group that each blanket will comfort the one who receives it.

Clothes Closet

Clothes and shoes for all ages – ‘Clothes Closet’ Monday through Thursday from 9a – 12 noon. We are in need of hangers as well as any gently pre-loved clothing at any time. Clothes are available to the public ~ donations considered .

Bridge Builders

We have been the driving force in the Anthony, Citra, Reddick and Sparr areas filling backpacks with non perishable food during the school year, opening a Food Pantry to our neighbors in need, and delivering boxed foods to families all year round. When other Food Banks are out we are there. We are the only one that delivers food to the neighboring communities for the school aged children all summer long so they don’t go without.
